Pets Capture Our Hearts
Companian animals can enrich our lives in an almost endless number of ways. Whether greeting us enthusiastically at the door, Keeping us company on daily jogs or simply entertaining us with their play, sharing your life with a pet is a great way to increase the length and improve the quality of your life. For all they add to our lives, we owe it to them to do all we can for them in return.

CATS
Cat's bring a unique pet experience to our lives. It's all on their terms! Extremely loving one moment and extremely independent the other, they can switch from their wild ancestry tendencies to their completely domesticated lives.
Three special cats all with a special story accupy our home with us. We've had many cats over the years and we've rarely gone out to bring one home. They seem to find us.
Several years ago we aquired Pepper, who was in need of a new home as her family was moving to Texas and couldn't take her with them. We were told she wouldn't tolerate other cats but with patience and love she has accepted our unintentional additions recently.
Inky came to us (With Smokey-an older cat who seemed to father him and was later hit by a car) as a tiny black kitten who was untamed. We were able to cage him and had him neutered. Then last year, a day before a bad winter storm came, Toby, who was tame but must have been lost as a kitten came to us. He was on the brink of death and it took months of tender, loving care to nurture him back to health and have him neutered. He is still grateful and the most loving cat we've seen in years.
The moral of the story is, guess what?, our unsociable cat Pepper has now learned to accept and actually enjoy other cats and the work of it all was totally worth it! We're received more then we could ever give in return.
